The school was first established in 1834 and is steeped in the rich history of the area. Having registered in 1840, Nodstown NS better known as Boherlahan NS was demolished in 1969. After a brief sojourn in the Parish Hall, it amalgamated with Ardmayle NS and became St. Isidore’s National School, which opened in 1971.
