Green School Update

In our school we celebrate many different green school topics. Last year when we had good weather many children cycled or walked to school . Many kids loved cycling to school and it continued over the school weeks.

Now were back in 2024. Much more has happened and were here to fill you in. We now bring home all our waste eg all our cling film . We have a composter between two classes and 1st and 2nd do load of work to empty them every evening into our big one in our school garden. 6th class boys have been pumpkins and sunflowers but now  it is far to cold so we are planting other things in our school garden.

Back in October we walked from the pitch to the school for walk to school week and some students were excellent and walked from their houses.

The green school had an inspection in January it was a huge success we were all delighted with how it went and can not wait to hear back from the Inspector. We will keep you posted
