Our garden committee have been busy.
The soil has been moved into the polytunnell, shelves have been put in place and the beds made. It is now ready for planting.
Erin and Danny made a start with Joanne and planted some peas.
Jamie, Niall and Paddy were flat out moving the soil into the tunnel and towards the front wall.
Caoimhe and Megan tidied up around the bird bath and planted some snap dragons into some new clay beneath.
Ms Joanne with the help of some of our budding gardeners planted most of the vegetables in the tunnel.
We’ve got peas, green beans, tomatoes, lettuce, spring onions, peppers, cucumber, radishes, parsnips, carrots, turnips and Brussels sprouts.
We also have sun flowers and pumpkins growing and these will all be planted outside in the garden once they are stronger.
So far outside we have onions, garlic, potatoes, carrots and rhubarb.
