Ellen Maher and Caoimhe Hickey here! We are going to Dublin City Hall for the Someone Like Me Art Competition Awards Ceremony. Ellen Maher has won the art competition for county Tipperary. We are on route to Dublin City Hall for the awards ceremony with Ms. Catherine. We are all looking forward to it. Well done to all who took part and congratulations to Ellen.

Hi Ellen and Caoimhe here! We are now on the train back to Thurles. Ellen has now received her award. She has been awarded with a certificate and a one4all voucher for herself and for the school. We met Niamh Moriarty an Irish actor with cerebral palsy. She told us about her story and how she started acting. Don King an entertainer did some cool dances with us, we had great fun doing them. Dr Aideen Hartney presented the awards .We took a look at all the different art work from other schools, they were all amazing. We had a great day.

Well done to the 6th class for organising the Junior Leagues- Children from juniors up to 3rd class competed and the finals were played off just in time for the Easter holidays!! 

Some fantastic displays and great sportsmanship- well done everyone !!

6th  class organised a soccer league for 3rd-5th class. There were 9 teams, named all after different Countries but now there is 2  two teams left. Everyday two matches took place. The 6th class were managers of each team and refereed every game. The children had great fun! 

Ireland and Spain are due to play next week in the final.  We will be back with the results next week!
